[RESOLVED] Stop running a static (X?) server configuration

According to the message here, my Xorg log (posted below) shows that I am running an 'undesirable static server' configuration. If possible, I would like to remove this configuration, and identify where this problem lies. Unfortunately, I am not entirely sure how this has occurred so if I could also be pointed to the relevant wiki page to learn more, or if an explanation could be provided, I would greatly appreciate this.

The only relevant setting in there is

Option "MetaModes" "DP-5: nvidia-auto-select +0+1080, HDMI-0: nvidia-auto-select +1920+1080, DP-1: nvidia-auto-select +0+0, DP-3: nvidia-auto-select +1920+0"

/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf

Section "Device"
    Identifier "RTX3060Ti"
    Driver  "nvidia"
    Option "MetaModes" "DP-5: nvidia-auto-select +0+1080, HDMI-0: nvidia-auto-select +1920+1080, DP-1: nvidia-auto-select +0+0, DP-3: nvidia-auto-select +1920+0"
EndSection

should™ do.

In doubt try

Section "Device"
    Identifier "RTX3060Ti"
    Driver  "nvidia"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
    Identifier "DefaultScreen"
    Device "RTX3060Ti"
    Option "MetaModes" "DP-5: nvidia-auto-select +0+1080, HDMI-0: nvidia-auto-select +1920+1080, DP-1: nvidia-auto-select +0+0, DP-3: nvidia-auto-select +1920+0"
EndSection

Thank you for this. Both of these configurations work (in that the displays render correctly with no blurring issues). The only issue I have at present is that HDMI-0 is considered primary, where I would prefer DP-5 to be primary. I found that a command to xrandr does this;

xrandr --output DP-5 --primary

But unfortunately, despite changing the display to primary, it does not resolve the actual issue I have; that being my twm places workspace 1 on HDMI-0 instead of DP-5. I also tried switching the order of the screens in the Option part of the relevant section but this also had no effect, I'm afraid.

I did also try simply switching around the cables for HDMI-0 and DP-5 but this has the unfortunate effect of meaning that my mouse hits a 'wall' as the screens are still arranged with HDMI-0 being to the left of DP-5.

Re: [RESOLVED] Stop running a static (X?) server configuration

Added to say that this was resolved by changing the .conf file as follows;

Section "Device"
	Identifier "RTX3060Ti"
	Driver "nvidia"
EndSection
Section "Screen"
	Identifier "DefaultScreen"
	Device "RTX3060Ti"
	Option "nvidiaXineramaInfoOrder" "DP-5"
	Option "MetaModes" "DP-5: nvidia-auto-select +0+1080, HDMI-0: nvidia-auto-select +1920+1080, DP-1: nvidia-auto-select +0+0, DP-3: nvidia-auto-select +1920+0"
EndSection

That is to say, this line allows me to set the primary monitor for the purposes outlined above;

Option "nvidiaXineramaInfoOrder" "DP-5"

Thank you again for your help with this.
