[Solved] ading from Arch 6.9.6 -> 6.7.1 breaks brightness control keys

I'm running arch linux with KDE plasma 6.1 and wayland on a 2023 LG gram 15.6.

When I upgrade from 6.9.6 -> 6.7.*, I no longer am able to register any key input when using the WMI brightness up/down keys using evtest.
What could cause this? I'm not really sure where to begin.

Why are you using such an old kernel? Also you're saying upgrading, but going from 6.9 -> 6.7 really is downgrading yikes
Why are you not fully upgrading your system? Then you would be at 6.11

Typo, I meant 6.9.6 -> 6.9.7
Whatever the problem was, however, is solved as of 6.11.9 :claps:
Thank you!

Please mark as [SOLVED] by editingn the title in your first post, and please note that your system must have been multiple months out of date, you should always do a full system update to check whether an issue was solved before making a thread here.
