Just posting a fix I discovered during my usage of wine running Prince of Persia 2008 that caused the game mouse to run widly fast and sensitive, the culprit I tracked all the way to the registry and then found it was `*dinput8.dll` in DLLOverides installed via winetricks, I'd like to know whether this worked for anyone else who may have had the same problem once and whether it should be posted as a fix for anyone else looking for it, like in the wiki.
If not at least I'd like it to have it as a solution in the forum for anyone looking.
Does inputting just `dinput8` solve the problem? Does the asterisk prefix mean that it links all sorts of dinput8 dlls besides the one in the game or C:/ directory?

In case anyone needs it one other potential fix I found on reddit is:
Disabling touch mode in General Settings if you're running Plasma.
The same problem also arised on the Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion where the mouse ran too slow so I guess this happens on multiple games.
