Will upgraded wifi card be automatically detected?

I have vanilla arch installed on a Dell XPS 15 1960. I am going to upgrade the Killer wifi card to AX210. Will the new card be automatically detected at boot or will I need to boot a live iso, and chroot to update the system?

It should™ be detected automatically.  It might be assigned a different name.  You can discover said name with ip link
