Hi Folks.
I need opencl for running darktable properly. (AMD Radeon Pro WX 5100 Graphics)
For the last 2 years t had to downgrade rocm-opencl-runtime lower than 6 to have it working.
After the last update last week ist stoped working at all.
clinfo says "invalid pointer"
Is there anythig i can do ?
Thanks, Alex.

Please post text as text instead of as an image: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Genera … s_and_code
You're doing a partial downgrade which isn't supported. What you need to do is grab the PKGBUILD of an appropriately low versioned rocm and recompile that on your system against the newer libraries, see https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch_build_system

Thanks, i note your advice, but can you also help me with my problem ?
I am downgrading nothing anymore as my hardware is no longer functional with opencl.
Does anyone of you know which amd gpu is going to work that is not on the official support list ?
what about the radeon pro w 6400 ?

That's RDNA2 should work. FWIW https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=301343 suggests there might be some correlations with the 6.12 kernel and OpenCL workloads with older chips, consider testing whether you can still reproduce the issue on e.g. the LTS kernel.
