monitor doesn't wake up on resume from suspend (nvidia)

about 2-3 weeks ago resume from suspend became very slow: it was taking about 20-30 seconds and I was able to fix that by adding kernel param:

nvidia.NVreg_PreserveVideoMemoryAllocations=0

and disabling nvidia services:

nvidia-suspend.service
nvidia-hibernate.service
nvidia-resume.service

but then this week it broke again in a way that monitor doesn't wake up after resume (it's just black)

I also booted into windows and discovered that Fast Start was back on misteriously so I turned it off and rebooted both windows and arch twice

I can't directly help you, sorry. But I've seen several similar posts recently, so you might not be the only one experiencing this. Maybe have a look into other recent threads.
