Hyprland+vulkan issues after updates

Hello everyone, first of all after a couple hours I am able to start in sway to post this.
- the issue:
  I rebooted after 5-6 days and I log in to hyprland and it was like if it was not using GPU at all very laggy and super slow, I try to downgrade some program and did not help.
I am like ok I still have sway lets get that so at least I can go to the forums and check and do some work.
when I run sway --unsupported-gpu flag
It crashes saying that no vulkan this and that...  I do a printenv and notice the env:
WLR_RENDERER=vulkan
I added this since I have an nvidia card usually performs much better for me I used it on sway and then on hyprland for a long time no issues until today
I removed it and rebooted, now I was able to run sway (have not try hyprland yet) but I am sure something is going on with vulkan that was updated in the last week or so.

ok my question:
Anyone have similar issues with hyprland or sway related to running on vulkan instead of egl ?

As far as I know, the new hyprland version is not based on wlroots anymore, so WLR_RENDERER probably doesn't work. I do not know if there is a vulkan rendrer available in hyprland now.

yes you are right, I try hyprland and I still have the issues so will stick with sway until they fix it :sad:
must be the aquamarine or similar name that is the issue then something related to vulkan almost sure.

ok I think this is related I have the same symptons https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=2210324 going to downgrade kernel also I could had upgraded kernel in the last week and notice today that I rebooted.

Is not made or break by vulkan ./. EGL

Do you have an amdgpu ?
You could also test the LTS kernel.
