[SOLVED] Bluetooth issue.

When I try to connect my keyboard to the PC on arch I get this error 50 times.

When I move it closer to the receiver it is able to connect (20cm)
And I can move it away and use it without any issues.

I think the signal was around -17.
Also, it connects perfectly in windows from distance (1m)

I tried:

sudo btmgmt
fast-conn on

Without this option I was getting 5 errors, now I get 50 every time I try to connect.

I also tried:

cat /etc/modprobe.d/50-bluetooth.conf
options btusb enable_autosuspend=n

But I do not think it worked because powertop is showing

Good Bluetooth device interface status

I expected "Bad" if auto suspend was turned off.

How to make sure it does not suspend?
Other ideas on what is the problem?

Re: [SOLVED] Bluetooth issue.

Did this ever work? You could try a previous version of the kernel or the bluez stack or check if it works with the linux-lts package installed and configured..

Re: [SOLVED] Bluetooth issue.

Never worked well, I had to always move it closet to the antenna to connect. Mouse on BT next to keyboard never had issues.
I was thinking... maybe its the keyboard, but under Windows it connects without issues.

Re: [SOLVED] Bluetooth issue.

Problem is solved for me. It cost me 10 EUR. I got tp-link UB500 and keyboard is connecting from the other side of the room in less than a second.
A tiny USB dongle plugged into the back of the case works better than build in BT with an antenna sitting in a better spot.
I think there is some kind of bug in the driver for the BT that is build into my MSI Z790.
I don't know how to get logs that would help find the issue.
