Program to burn a playlist to CD maintaining song ordering

I'd need suggestions about a program that would be able to let me define a playlist and then burn it to a data CD maintaining the same ordering. I use to rely on Amarok and a plugin called BurnPlaylist, which with great effort I've been able to maintain in a working state up to some time ago but now I need to find an alternative. The plugin worked in a very simple way, reading the names of the audio files from the Amarok playlist, adding a progressive number as prefix for the file name to be burnt, and then handing over the list to K3B. In this way the file ordering on the CD was the same as on the playlist, and consequently also the play order.
Is there any software able to accomplish the same, possibly even with different mechanisms? Years ago when Amarok felt in the dust I did search but found nothing.
Thanks in advance for any help.

You say a 'data' CD.  Is that opposed to an 'audio' CD?  In other words, are you looking to generate something with a file system to be used in a computer rather than something that will play in an audio CD player?

If not, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Optica … n_audio_CD

You're right, I mean a data CD filled with mp3 files. I have a CD player that is able to play mp3 files sequentially according to file names, that's why I'm searching for such a program.
