Could License Issue of BSD/Gentoo affect Arch?

Not really knowing much other than the linux.com article I read this morning regarding the subject.

Could the licensing issues that BSD/Gentoo have discovered affect Arch?

No.

This is a problem of trying to integrate GPLv2 code with 4-BSD code.  Since there is no 4-BSD code used by a default arch installation,  this problem won't affect ArchLinux.

This, however, would be a problem for anyone trying to create an Arch:FreeBSD distro.
