[SOLVED]Arabic using urdu font

I have recently installed arch linux and when i tried duolingo, it was using this nastaliq urdu font when made it look awful. i will share examples later. i don't really know what is going on. last time i installed arch linux i selected gnu-freefonts as the supplier for ttf which made it look way to modern where the alif was indistinguishable from the letter I. now i selected noto-fonts but now it uses this nastaliq urdu script. i found a bug report about this same exact problem but it says its fixed: https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/77414
