My fellow arch users,
i have a very annoying problem. My mouse cursor stutters when uprading to any kernel 6.12 version. This stuttering occurs when hovering over any Links/Buttons or any other things that either change the look of the cursor or trigger an animation of some sort. The logs don't show anything out of the ordinary and it only happens, when I have my external monitors connected, but then it happens on all screens. This issue also only presents on my AMD-powered Framework 13 Laptop, not on my Intel-based Laptop with the exact same setup. My monitors both support FreeSync/AdaptiveSync, which is turned on.
My fix: Downgrade to kernel 6.11.9
Could this be an issue in AMDs drivers? It is definitely something in the kernel package gone wrong... I hope we can figure this out.
Kind regards
Indy
