Sound stopped working on soundcard

Hello all,

I've been using my soundcard for a while now, everything was working perfectly. It's a Focusrite Scarlett 8i6. I'm using pipewire.

Today, I was tinkering with some Linux audio programs, one of which was freewheeling which I think was the culprit that broke my system (I'm not sure as I kept tinkering afterwards). When I launched it, sound stopped playing from my headphones.

I thought to myself that "whatever, I'll reboot and sound will come back". Sadly, as you may have guessed from the fact that I'm posting here, the sound didn't come back.

If I switch my sound output to some speakers I have, I do get sound coming out of them.

I've also tried plugging my sound card into another PC, and I get sound out of my headphones.

I've tried going around `alsamixer` and checking if something muted my soundcard, but I didn't find anything muted.

I couldn't find much when doing `systemctl --user status pipewire wireplumber`. In pavucontrol, I see that sound is trying to get out through my soundcard -- I just don't hear anything.

Can someone help me out ?

Is analog surround the correct profile or are you normally using digital out and forgot to switch? Checked to make sure it's not muted on the HW side? What do you get from

sudo fuser -v /dev/snd/*
amixer -c0
journalctl -b --user-unit pipewire  --user-unit pipewire-pulse  --user-unit wireplumber

I believe it's the correct profile, I remember it being this way. In `pavucontrol` I only have a bunch of Analog Surround profiles, a Pro Audio profile, a Multichannel Input and an Off profile. I've tried switching between them, but I didn't get any sound out.
