(excuse me if I sound dumb, I'm new to Arch, hence the newbie corner)
Basically the issue is that I cant change the monitor brightness, and it looks WAY dimmer than in Windows 11 (I dualbooted W11 and Arch), but I can tell that it DOES recognize my monitor since it shows 144Hz in settings, and it says "Built-in screen 1920x1080". I am really stuck on this, checked out many posts on the forum and on the wiki, nothing worked. Any help appreciated, since I'm too used to how bright my screen is on W11 ![]()

3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.
This is a laptop? You're concerned about https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Backlight control?
That has basically nothing to do w/ "correct refresh rate is detected", please read through that wiki, elaborate on the exact efforts to alter the brightness and in what environment - "I read and did many things but nothing works" won't cut it.
