Good afternoon,
the anti-aliasing of the fonts is quite nice under ArchLinux but I have some problems, too. When signing up, the text input field, in which you put the password, has no anti-aliasing, the circles are crippled.
That's not too bad, but several buttons in web applications do not have anti-aliasing too (Konqueror) and testings with the Tk-toolkit have shown me, that Tk-based applications do not use the anti-aliased fonts per default.
Is that a problem with Tk or is it possible to set global values for fonts and their anti-aliasing?
Thanks for answers in advance
regards, cg

Hi,
at first, if you have problems with KDEmod, please report them in the appendant tread... Its not a official package set, so maybe only a few users will be able to help you, and i for example have the mail notification enabled for the thread, so you maybe get a faster response if you post in the KDEmod thread
Now to your problem. It seems to be something with your font settings, please review them (there are also font-related settings at the konqueror preferences). I have tested this on my konqueror, and its working correctly. TK is another story, and i cant help you with that as i am using none of these apps...
want a modular and tweaked KDE for arch? try kdemod

I think has some connection. For me it looks like that:

But I not know, whether it is the fault of my font settings or KDEmod. Which file should I post here? /etc/fonts/fonts.conf ?
