Hello,
I upgraded packages recently, and I got an issue. Before the appmenu plugin was displaying the entire application menu correctly, at the left of the screen. After the upgrade, it displays near the center of the screen, and it is cut after a couple of letters. So, it's impossible to display the entire menu anymore.
Does anybody have any clue?

Hello; this is also exactly my case. Even though reading all the issues, I couldn't understand how to fix! I have already upgraded both my archlinux, xfce and vala-panel files. @aquilarubra did you find any solution?

I have fixed it. I have uninstalled the related stable packages and instead installed git packages from aur:
sudo pacman -Runc vala-panel vala-panel-appmenu-xfce appmenu-glib-translator vala-panel-appmenu-registrar
yay -S appmenu-glib-translator-git
yay -S vala-panel-git
yay -S vala-panel-appmenu-xfce-git
yay -S vala-panel-appmenu-registrar-gitYou can check my response in Vala-Panel-Project issues.
