Hi everyone,
I freshly installed arch Linux yesterday and booted it once to install a DE. after a reboot, dracut no longer asks for a root password, instead is stuck on the message
Reached target Basix system
Started Dbus system message bus after a while, it proceeds to show
3] dracut-initqueue[518]: Warning: dracut-initqueue: starting timeout scripts
1] dracut-initqueue[518]: Warning: dracut-initqueue: timeout, still waiting for following initqueue hooks:

dracut-initqueue[518]: [ -e "/dev/disk/by-uuid/5b45c624-a568-49f6-bb21-f76ef2afaa75" 1my dracut.conf is roughly as follows
add dracurmodules = btrfs crypt
filesystems = btrfs
kernel cmdline = rd.luks.name= luks storage uuid:root root=uuid= unencrypted mapper uuid
rootflags=subvol=/@ my refind_linux.conf is roughly as follows
"root=UUID= unencrypted mapper uuid ro cryptdevice=UUID= luks storage uuid:root:allow-discards rootflags=subvol=/@" what completely perplexed me is that this booted once completely alright. after a system update and installing a DE, which must be totally unrelated, led to this situation. I'm new to the forums, i hope I've given adequate information, please ask if I need to provide more data for help
