(sorry for my garbage english)
I am using Arch with kde plasma wayland with a RTX 3070 ti. I followed this guide https://github.com/korvahannu/arch-nvid … tion-guide and the graphic card worked find except for the refresh rate of my monitor.
The monitor has 4 mode: 50, 60, 75 and 100 Hz and every time I switch to 100Hz, the screen lost signal.
I tried other desktop environments like gnome and hyprland and all of them won't work.
xrandr output:

Please post your Xorg log, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Xorg#General
Do you have a "Premium High Speed" cable?

I have a normal HDMI cable that works fine on window.
This is the log and the command I ran:
➜ ~ cd ~/.local/share/xorg/
➜ xorg ls
Xorg.0.log Xorg.0.log.old
➜ xorg grep -e Log -e tty Xorg.0.log

The log, not just some grep - the link was for you to find its location.
Please don't just blindly copypaste blue boxes you see, that will end in a disaster.
There's no "normal" HDMI cable, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HDMI#Refr … dard_video
There's no way to get 1440p100 out of a "Standard" cable, w/ a "High Speed" cable you might just about get a (lower quality) YCbCr/4:2:0 signal.
Also, probably unrelated but still see the 3rd link below. Mandatory.
Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.

The monitor works fine on window with that same cable so I thought it wouldn't be the problem.

The HGC output is rated at 600MHz, so that should™ not be a problem but still try https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/NVIDIA … ubsampling
/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/20-nvidia.conf
Section "Device"
Identifier "RTX3070Ti"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "ForceYUV420" "True"
EndSectionshould do - check the xorg log to see whether it gets applied.
nb. that this has negative impact on the image quality.

update:
I switch to the LTS kernel and it solved the problem

Are you still using the nvidia driver (ie. you installed nvidia-lts)?
It seems rather odd that the kernel version would have that impact on an OOT module - could you verify this (ie. the 6.12 kernel still doesn't work, lts works reliably after reboots)
