[Solved] Shortcuts not working on Plasma 6

After switching to the Framework 13 (AMD), I’ve run into issues with shortcuts on Plasma 6. Some global shortcuts like Meta + F keys or Alt + F keys don’t work, and per-application hotkeys are broken too. For example, pressing F9 in HTOP (in Konsole) opens the window to select display output instead of terminating a process.

I’ve installed the full "plasma" package group, and these issues didn’t happen on my previous device. Any ideas on troubleshooting?

Qt Version: 6.8.1
Kernel Version: 6.6.69-1-lts (64-bit)
Graphics Platform: Wayland

Sounds like an fn lock being set or so, that would be specific to the laptop.

Also the LTS version is over a year old in terms of general HW support, can you repro on non-LTS?

First and foremost, thank you very much for the prompt reply.

You were right, it has to do something with the Fn key. All the aforementioned hotkeys work if pressed with it in combination. I'm cool with this workaround for now.

Speaking of the kernel switch, the latest regular one makes no difference.

Yes if it's fn lock then this is HW specific. from a cursory googler fn+ESC should swap the default, so that you get the function keys by default and the media keys together with fn.
