My laptop recently started rebooting without any prompting, usually right after I log into my Arch installation (but sometimes after I had been logged on for a while). My computer is a Dell XPS 15 (9500), and the BIOS Power Event Log shows "Power Off - ACPI power management" and "Power Off - ASF2 force off." I also have a Windows installation that I don't use very often, and I haven't experienced the same issue on it (yet). I updated my BIOS (which was quite outdated) and some other firmware items, but the problem still persists. Any suggestions on how to debug my issue would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Disable it (it's NOT the BIOS setting!) and reboot windows and linux twice for voodo reasons.
It might very well be windows what rebooting the system otherwise (technically via an acpi schedule, but that hardly matters )

Oh, wow. I've never heard of Fast Startup, but it sounds like a classic Windows move. I disabled that (and double rebooted windows and linux), and I haven't had any issues thus far. I'll mark this post as solved and reopen if needed. My CPU is Intel, so I imagine I won't face the Ryzen issues. Thanks so much!
