TLDR I have the same symptoms as https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=301061, but I have an AMD card so the fix there doesn't work.
Symptoms:
I updated my system on Nov 17, and since then I haven't been able to get any HDMI output. I've tried four different monitors and cables, all of which worked on other computers. xrandr doesn't detect any additional monitors. This is probably not an X problem, because it used to mirror my terminal before I started X, and it no longer does. The monitor does notice being plugged/unplugged, but displays No Signal and goes back to sleep. Nothing shows up in journalctl on plug/unplug.
