Dumb question but I can't seem to figure this out.
I'd like to be able to have my web browser on one workspace, text editor on another workspace, etc. and quickly switch between them with keyboard shortcuts, but I can't seem to figure out how to do this in KDE Plasma.
Of course I've Googled and found this: https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/khelpce … s/kbd.html, but CTRL+F2, CTRL+F3 doesn't seem to do anything.
AI answers also said to try CTRL+Arrow keys, but this also doesn't seem to do anything.
I've also found Virtual Desktops in KDE System settings, and adding a Virtual Desktop seems to be what allows CTRL+F1-F4 to work, but this seems to bring me to a new login prompt, almost like starting a new tty in the Linux terminal, which isn't what I want.
I've also seen that if I mouse over to the top-left corner, I can create a new Desktop from there, but again this seems to be completely detached from the original desktop session because no applications are open, it's as if I just rebooted and logged in again. But this isn't what I want, I want all the same applications to remain open, I just want to be able to quickly switch between fullscreen browser, fullscreen text editor, whatever else on the next workspace, etc.
I just want to be logged in to a single desktop session and be able to quickly switch back and forth between workspaces. Does KDE not support this? Or am I misunderstanding or doing something wrong? I'm pretty sure I could do this in GNOME, it seems surprising that KDE wouldn't also support this, so I figure I must be doing something wrong. Can someone advise?
EDIT: It looks like Virtual Desktops is what I'm looking for, I guess it just doesn't work quite like I expected, but that's fine.

In https://docs.kde.org/stable5/en/plasma- … tcuts.html are some shortcuts for plasma 5 - do these still work in plasma 6?

They don't change workspaces. But KDE doesn't seem to use the terminology "workspace". Seems like it's either Activities or Virtual Desktop. Not sure which one is what I'm looking for.

settings, mouse and touchpad, screen edges or
Set up activities and set a key combination for each activity screen.

OK so Activities = Workspaces? I'll guess I'll have to tinker with it then. I figured that'd be something already included by default.
EDIT: Yeah NVM Virtual Desktops is what I'm looking for. I guess it just doesn't work quite like I expected, but that's fine I can make it work.
