Bug tracker for feature requests?

The old flyspray system had a feature request template in addition to a bug template. I see that the gitlab platform only has a bug template. Does that imply that logging feature requests there is an unwelcome practice?

No, it just does not provide a template for feature requests. Anything that does not fit in a template can be written without it.
