An error occurred during the installation of davfs2

I am unable to install davfs2 properly and receive an error message saying that neon was not found. However, even if I manually install neon, this error still persists。

1. This issue belongs in AUR issues, not pacman issues.

2. What research have you done so far regarding this issue?

You should read the comments on the package on AUR problems, the "fix" is a trivial adjustment of an already existing sed line, why davfs2 hard-depends on specific versions like these with no necessary reasoning for it, is anyones guess.
