[SOLVED] EDID checksum invalid

I've got some issues running apps on Wine:

err:   readMonitorEdidFromKey: Failed to get EDID reg key size

Which led me to discover:

[    5.752793] EDID has corrupt header

What makes you believe the invalid edid is related to the problem?

Also please don't concatenate various edids into a single hexdump.
Ideally run edid-decode on them, but in any event, dump them into individual outputs, that stuff doesn't have an EDID header.

What makes you believe the invalid edid is related to the problem?

I'm just investigating right now. Loading i2c-dev made the errors disappear but I indeed still have issues with OpenGL. I'll open a thread for this in Multimedia. Closing.
