Hi,
I'm running Arch Linux on Virtual Box.
I want to install 'virtualbox-guest-utils-nox' so I run
pacman -Syu virtualbox-guest-utils-noxOn First Question I choosed 1 (linux) and on Second Question I choosed 2 (mkinitcpio) then I Type 'Y' to install.
There were a lot of line stating xxxxx exist in file system.
At the end it produced
Errors occured,no packages were upgraded
when I try to enable vboxservice.service it said
No such file or directory
My Host Virtual Box version is 7.1.4 r165100
virtualbox-guest-utils-nox that I want to install is 7.1.4-4
https://archlinux.org/packages/extra/x8 … utils-nox/
Any advice ?

It feel like you didn't even finished the install of arch (because you were asked 'Questions' during the install).
OR you are not on arch system (and try to use pacman on it)
Are you in fully installed, booted into, arch system in the VM?

It turns out, pacman cannot access its database.
Thanks.

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
