Hi I'm a newbie when it comes to arch
I'm trying to install hyprland but I get a 404 from my set mirrors
error: failed retrieving file 'hyprland-0.47.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst' from london.mirror.pkgbuild.com : The requested URL returned error: 404
error: failed retrieving file 'hyprland-0.47.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst' from europe.mirror.pkgbuild.com : The requested URL returned error: 404
error: failed retrieving file 'hyprland-0.47.0-2-x86_64.pkg.tar.zst' from mirror.ubrco.de : The requested URL returned error: 404
...
warning: failed to retrieve some files
error: failed to commit transaction (failed to retrieve some files)
Errors occurred, no packages were upgraded.I've looked on the pacman wiki page but I can't see anything that's helping

The current version of hyprland is 0.47.1-2, while you are trying to download an older version that most likely don't exist on mirrors anymore. This means that your local pacman database is outdated. Update your system and you should be good.

That sort of error usually* means that your pacman sync databases are out of date. Update your system (pacman -Syu) and try again.
* it can also sometimes be caused by an out-of-sync mirror, but in this case hyprland is now at 0.47.1-2 in the Arch repos, so it is your system that is outdated.
Edit: beaten to the punch!

Making lemonade from lemons since 2015.

thats because the mirror has updated since your last Syu and the hyprland package has changed version, you need to run "pacman -Syu hyprland" or add the archlinux archive to the end of your /etc/pacman.d/mirrorlist
Server = https://archive.archlinux.org/packages/.allthat way you can still install packages without having to update the whole system.
the first method is preferred of course.
EDIT: beaten twice
