Gnome 3 - Window font size can vary dramatically

Hi,

I'm on a Gnome with a 27", screen resolution at 3849x2160 abd 125% scale. The font size for certain windows (vscode, firefox) is incredibly large,  whereas for others is normal. For instance:

Thunderbird (on top) is rendered normally, whereas Firefox shows the tabs and the URL bar with a font larger than expected.

Any idea what to look for to solve this?
