Hi.
I've just finished installing ArchLinux on my friend's computer. Everything was updated and I've installed kdemod and all needed packages. I thought that everything was working fine until I launched superkaramba and cairo-clock. Cairo-clock was a white rectangle and superkaramba applets were black rectangles. I've checked if this is related to beryl but after disabling beryl completly the situation is the same. Running kernel is 2.6.19-beyond and latest nvidia driver 9631 is installed - graphgics card is GF5200. Does anyone know the source of the problem??? On my laptop I've had issues with libgl-dri but they were related to beryl. It never happened with beryl disabled.

This probably won't help (since you said that beryl didn't seem to be the problem), but I had similar issues with beryl and superkaramba and realized that it had to do with icons being disabled on the desktop. I went back and checked that box in the control center and all was fine.
Hi. I'm a sig. What are you?
