And your question is? you can launch brave with --password-store=basic (or none) if you don't want any keyring integration (your pws will be stored plaintext somewhere iirc with basic), otherwise see available options in: https://peter.sh/experiments/chromium-c … -switches/

Changing the current user's password back to the previous one resolved the issue. Thanks for the help!

no with the added information that you switched your user password then this is normal and expected behaviour. You need to change the wallet's password to your new password as well if you change your password otherwise kdewallet_pam can't unlock it with the login password. you can use kwalletmanager to change your wallets PW to be the same as your login password.

applexxx, i have this exact same problem ! that is how i found this thread. I am however using hyprland for the first time this weekend. i was pulling my hair out thinking i just f'd something up. I will be reading the links V1del recommended also
