Arch and Intels Arc B580 graphic card support, when will it come?
Has anyone make it work with Arch and Darktable 5 hardware support encoding

Someone hasn't read Common Problems and Issues
6. When will $package be in the repos?
When it is ready.
If you find this answer unsatisfactory, you can always build your own package using the ABS.
Also, some research would indicate that it's already supported: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Intel_graphics
what exact issues are you running into?

https://www.phoronix.com/review/intel-a … hics-linux should give you an idea what to expect.
Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?

The interesting is to make Darktable 5 able to use Arc B580 encoders when working with photos.

Darktable uses opencl and for intel cards intel-compute-runtime provides that.
The question you should probably ask is : How well does intel-compute-runtime support the B580 ?
https://www.phoronix.com/review/intel-a … pu-compute should be interesting for you.
