Timeshift RSYNC Backup to External Drive

My apologize as I'm relatively new to arch and i need some help with the subject matter. I tried to make a TimeShift RSYNC backup on my external SSD, I made a partition using parted and the guide from https://linuxconfig.org/how-to-partitio … e-in-linux. this I made Partition Table: gpt and btrfs file system and timeshift wont reconize the partition. And if possible please tell me what i did wrong in alot of detail so i can learn a bit more.
