Gnome forgets Keyboard Layout

When gnome desktop is restarted, it forgets my keyboard layout and switches back to the us default. it's not only that the correct layout is not selected, but it doesn't show up in the overview. I can than add it again and it works fine. Anyone ever encountered this?

Re: Gnome forgets Keyboard Layout

I have the same issue on my setup... Switches back to the default US layout. It started to happen a couple of days or a week ago.

I am having the same issue.
I noticed that immediately after session start, the indicator on the top right bar, correctly shows 'it' (Italian in my case) for a second and then it disappear and switch back to en-US
