Hello,
Using a GT 610 on X11 with dwm as my default wm, trying to switch to i3 but this issue stops me from doing so.
When I try to use picom ( and have fading enabled ) switching between workspaces stutters a bit. The stutter is really noticeable when a window (namely firefox haven't noticed much with other programs) with a white theme is present.
I have already tried both glx and xrender. Wherein xrender performs better.

UPDATE ON THE SITUATION--
Just noticed that this lag occurs when going from a dark themed program to a something like a web page (light theme).
Solution -
The issue lied with the programs themselves. Hardware acceleration thought enabled was not working properly but after configuring things it does.
