[SOLVED] Hybrid AMD/NVIDIA Laptop problem since drivers 570

Hi everyone,

I recently updated my system which lead to a nvidia drivers update, since then I experience high power consumption from the dedicated GPU. With the previous version, only the integrated GPU was used and my laptop was pretty silent with barely no usage of the discrete GPU shown in nvtop except when gaming.

I'm using hyprland.

Do you have any idea of what's going on and how I can restore the previous behavior?

why don't you list your exact gpu model and the exact drivers you have installed?

But the lag is still there on external display on so on.

Okay:

1. Never cut your logs, post full outputs, never assume a package isn't relevant
2. switch to nvidia-open and see if that solves the issue

I've switched to nvidia-open and went back to the last kernel but the problem persists.

well it's kinda solved by downgrading hyprland (as too often I must say)
