Hello everyone, after a lot of troubleshooting (googling and searching thru the wiki) i got my HP Victus 16-s1023dx running with arch linux but when i boot it the screen goes black (but the screen backlight is on) and if i plug an external monitor it does show sddm correctly and i can use my laptop. I have tried different fixes that appeared when i googled issues with my Hybrid Graphics configuration (Radeon 780M with an Nvidia 4070) but a lot of the issues happen on a X server session and I'm currently using KDE Plasma with Wayland so many of the possible fixes that show up dont apply because they are X-11 configurations. I'm linking to a pic of the output that Neofetch gives with my Computer specs. Edit: I saw that Neofetch list resolution as 1366x768 but thats the external monitor resolution, my Main laptop resolution is 1920x1080@144
I have installed nvidia open source drivers and (up to my knowledge) amdgpu drivers correctly, i tried using amdgpu pro drivers but it didnt change anything on the computer, when i boot the text that appears when booting to Arch shows up but after a moment of loading (probably loading drivers or something) my screen goes black as i have described and i wont be able to do anything unless i connect a secondary monitor because i wont be able to see anything i do, but the computer is not locked up or unusable it just wont show anything on the main display (laptop screen)
If i can get help with creating logs and getting a hand on this situation i would much appreciate it as this has been a headscratcher as i do not see anything wrong with either how i installed it or how the laptop works. When installing there was no issue and i can boot to other liveusb installations without much trouble (i do have to set nomodeset for everything to work but i do belive that has more to do with the fact i have an Nvidia gpu more than anything else)
PS: when i took the picture for the neofetch output i noticed that Spectacle actually showed two screens rather than one but the laptop monitor was still black with screen backlight on Check the screenshot here
