Hello everyone! This is my first post.
I'm using Arch with integrated Intel GPU and discrete NVIDIA GPU (I have installed the recommended `nvidia` driver); and with `greetd` and `tuigreet` as my login manager daemon and greeter.
So far so good, I have set them up and they work just fine except for one purely aesthetic issue. During boot, when the greeter first appears, there is a brief period (max 1s) when the console does not seem to be fully operative: the greeter is pushed as much as possible to the top left and Unicode box drawing characters are displayed as some other Unicode characters (most of them with umlauts). Though it's brief and aesthetics only, it sure does look ugly.
1. I know it's not the font (set in "/etc/vconsole.conf") because the same font is used from the very beginning.
2. I know it's not KMS because I have removed "kms" from the hooks, have added "nvidia nvidia_uvm nvidia_modeset nvidia_drm" to the modules and use `nvidia-utils` v570. "fbdev" and "modeset" parameters are certainly set, confirmed by catting their corresponding files in the modules directory.
3. Restarting "greetd.service" brings up the greeter immediately with no issue I just described whatsoever. It looks perfect as soon as it is brought up.
Why am I having this issue and what can I try to resolve it i.e. get the greeter to be properly shown from the very beginning?
Thanks!
