Hi,
Quick question: today my KDE on Wayland has started showing a desktop bigger than the screen size. How can I solve it?
Long story: I have a laptop (resolution 1920x1200), usually connected to usb4 hub and from there to 2 hdmi monitors (8k resolution). Usually I have KDE to use only one external HDMI when connected to the hub. Today I've disconnected the laptop from the hub and then I've plugged it back. Since then, the problem started to happen. This is specific to my user; if I go to the login screen or access as another user, the size of KDE fits the screen correctly. I have found no useful configurations in system settings panel, so I suppose that I should edit some file in my homedir to solve.
When it happened the system was updated at 3 days ago, and the latest updates haven't solved and neither playing with screen settings, connecting/disconnecting screens in many ways.
Any suggestion? Let me know if you need some other details,
Thanks

Hi,
I've just found the solution!
It seems that the problem is due to this entry in ~/.config/kwinrc :
[Effect-zoom]
InitialZoom=1.2
Removing it, the problem has gone

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.
clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
