[SOLVED] libreoffice-fresh seems to depend on icu 75.1

Hi,

following updates (including an update from icu 75.1 to 76.1), libreoffice-fresh versions 25.2.0-3 and 25.2.0-4 give the following error:

/usr/lib/libreoffice/program/soffice.bin: error while loading shared libraries: libicudata.so.75: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

this despite the fact that the changelog for 25.2.0-2 says "icu 76 rebuild" (although this version returns the same error as the versions above).

Could this be a simple packaging error, or am I making some kind of mistake?

This is a local problem, not a packaging problem. Use lddtree from the pax-utils package to see what's trying to load the old lib.

Thank you.  The issue was boost (held back because of an issue with rstudio-desktop).  All resolved now.
