Bluetooth audio haywire

I am using hyprland with pipewire. Every time I connect my bluetooth headphones, the following happens:
- There is about a 1/2 chance that I don't get any audio, despite the pavucontrol bar moving under my headphones in Output Devices.
- If I do get any audio, there is another 1/2 chance that only the HSP/HFP mode is available.
- If A2DP is available, there is yet another 1/2 chance that their volume is only 1/5 of what it normally is, requiring me to set my volume to 100%, from the 20% I usually keep it at.

Using bluetooth headphones with this many problems seems near impossible.

I have similar problem since I upgraded to kernel 6.13, switching profiles doesn't seem to work for me, or it works only once. Downgrading to 6.12 seems to fix it for me, but I'm kinda confused why no one else has similar problem, since this affects both of my bluetooth headsets and obviously it's kernel related.
