This is probably stupid and am not really a clue what to do to debug. Hope people can help me explaining where to look.
I have a razer blade:
CPU: 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13950HX (32) @ 5.50 GHz
GPU 1: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 Laptop GPU [Discrete]
GPU 2: Intel Raptor Lake-S UHD Graphics @ 1.65 GHz [Integrated]
Memory: 3.80 GiB / 30.99 GiB (12%)
I just installed the laptop and all worked fine. But suddenly after a reboot the screens dimms mid boot sequence. When I switch to discrete GPU in bios the screen doesn't dim and is normal. When I boot in hybrid mode with the intel it dims.
Tried some things from the arch backlight arch wiki but nothing seems to work. Not sure where to look or even what logs I would need to post.
Install brightnessctl and checked it was set to 5%. Switched to 100% and worked. Not sure how it got set to 5 suddenly.
