user_credentials.json encryption?

I installed Arch this past weekend (archinstall).  I also saved the configurations.  Since the passwords are saved in plain text, is it possible to encrypt the user_credentials.json file and decrypt it when is time to use the archinstall script.  Just wondering if anyone has accomplished this and how.
