emacs ecb with GNU Emacs 30.1 will not work

Hello,

I have in my  ~/.emacs
(add-to-list 'load-path "/usr/share/emacs/site-lisp/ecb")
(require 'ecb-autoloads)

but ther is no ecb-activate available in emacs.

Whats wrong?
