[SOLVED] Middle click not working

My middle click does not work and does not show up when running libinput debug-events.
On Windows middle click works.

Edit: I am using wayland

Also what kind of input device are we talking about?
Middleclcik emulation on a touchpad, mouse, wired, bluetooth, …?

1: Fast startup was already disabled.

2: bash: evdev: command not found

3: x11 is not installed.

4: I am using a regular mouse (semi-wired).

lsusb -tv # just in case

but in general name what device it *actually* is. Not some generics.

Also please avoid bloating the thread with pointless full quotes.

I already used openrazer, however openrazer only provides light configuration and a few dpi settings.
Also button remapping for the mouse itself is apparently stored on the mouse and should therefore not be the problem (since it works on windows).

Yes it is, but if the button doesn't work, the mouse doesn't produce that event (the USB HID protocol isn't very variant)
Also is it *only* the middle button or do only the first  two buttons work (does maybe an unexpected button produce the middle button event)?

To be clear (because everything actually points there) windows fast-start is some windows setting that emulates reboots via hibernation (which is also not acceptable)
It is *not* some BIOS setting of similar (fast boot) name.
Also windows keeps re-enabling that w/ updates,so chck, don't assume.

Have you tried to re-attach the mouse or to a different port?

In the windows power settings fast-start was disabled.
Only the middle click does not work, both primary mouse buttons work, the scroll wheel works and the two extra buttons work.
I have tried both different usb ports on the motherboard itself and the "normal" usb ports.
I have now even tried bluetooth but the same thing happens.

I fixed it. On windows I noticed that middle click only worked after synapse started. I also saw a reddit post where someone solved a similar problem by rebinding middle click as middle click.
I tried this and it fixed the problem. Thank you for your help.
