debtap is broken

The debtap is broken: it always asks to run

debtap -u

with root priviledge, even it has been run already. This is probably related to the debtap tool itself with the following update warning:

failed: https://coresite.mm.fcix.net/archlinux/community/os/x86_64/community.files

.

As community now merged into extra, the debtap may need to first update on its community link. I think this may be the reason for its failure in running debtap but it is certainly the first place to check. Any idea on how to update the debtap? or how to contact the author (debtap is in aur).

Re: debtap is broken

It appears others have noticed the issue also and it is being worked on , see https://github.com/helixarch/debtap/issues/92

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
