Hello,
I have a Behringer U-phoria UMC204HD audio interface which (mostly) works fine, apart from when I try to put my PC into sleep. When I do, my PC will show a black screen, briefly power off other USB devices, then wake up again. The following errors show up in journalctl when trying to sleep;
Mar 02 15:59:45 alex-desktop kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: PM: pci_pm_suspend(): hcd_pci_suspend returns -16
Mar 02 15:59:45 alex-desktop kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: PM: dpm_run_callback(): pci_pm_suspend returns -16
Mar 02 15:59:45 alex-desktop kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: PM: failed to suspend async: error -16
Mar 02 15:59:45 alex-desktop kernel: PM: Some devices failed to suspend, or early wake event detected
Mar 02 15:59:46 alex-desktop kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: PM: pci_pm_suspend(): hcd_pci_suspend returns -16
Mar 02 15:59:46 alex-desktop kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: PM: dpm_run_callback(): pci_pm_suspend returns -16
Mar 02 15:59:46 alex-desktop kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: PM: failed to suspend async: error -16
Mar 02 15:59:46 alex-desktop kernel: PM: Some devices failed to suspend, or early wake event detected
Mar 02 15:59:46 alex-desktop systemd-sleep[16964]: Failed to put system to sleep. System resumed again: Device or resource busy
Mar 02 15:59:47 alex-desktop systemd[1]: Failed to start System Suspend.I get the same error when the interface is the only USB device plugged in (tested with "sleep 15 && systemctl suspend", then unplugging other devices before the system sleeps).
When plugging the interface in, I also get a repeated error saying "usb 1-3: clock source 41 is not valid, cannot use", but from what I can tell this error results in audio stutters if it does cause issues, which I have not heard.
If it's relevant, I'm using pipewire/wireplumber for audio, and the only devices plugged into the interface for now are some M-audio monitors plugged into the main jack outputs. My motherboard is an ASROCK B550M-ITX/ac.
The only other mention of this specific issue I have found is this comment on reddit, which does not provide a solution

Please can someone help troubleshoot, or point me in the right direction for diagnosing the issue further?
Edit: I should also mention that the issue doesn't occur when the audio interface isn't plugged in ![]()
Edit 2: I just tried it on a friend's PC - the issue also occurs on NixOS, but does not occur on Windows 10. Any tips for troubleshooting would be welcome ![]()

I have the same audio interface. How do you get your PC into the sleep mode? I will try to produce the similar problem.

I usually use the sleep button on the KDE start menu, but "systemctl suspend" also causes the issue.
