I'm having a strange issue. I can access a VM through virt-manager and audio works fine, but as soon as I open the VM in virt-viewer, the audio no longer works. It's instant. My gnome DE shows the speaker icon muted as soon as I switch to virt-viewer. When I switch back to the display in virt-manager, the speaker icon is normal again and sound works.
Further details:
Fedora VM with virtio display/spice. spice-vdagent installed on guest.
Audio is ICH9, as it's the only option that seems to work with my hardware.
NIC is NAT. I'm on a laptop so cannot bridge.
Any wild guesses as to what's causing the discrepancy?

Sorry to necro, but I'm still having this issue and couldn't find any answers elsewhere.
