Good day, I am just getting my head around Arch Network Configuration rules
I have a NetworkManager managing most of my connections, but I have set
wifi.background=iwd
so I suppose it now switched from using wpa_supplicant to iwd for wireless connections
I experience issue trying to connect to my University wifi, as I don't completely understand
the underlying process. According to https://archive.kernel.org/oldwiki/iwd. … k_profiles
I should create a essid.8021x file for the network for it to be recognized, which I did. I set the CA location and all needed fields. (However, I don't quite understand
what are anonymous name and domain, should domain be in form 'radius.<actual_domain>'?)
After this being done, when trying to connect via Gnome Shell GUI, I see Activation of network failed error.
Any help on the matter is highly appreciated, thank you
