Do I need to wait for both linux6.14 and mesa25.0 to support RX9070XT?

Do I need latest version of both to support the RX9070XT?
I really can't wait to play games on RX9070XT.

Re: Do I need to wait for both linux6.14 and mesa25.0 to support RX9070XT?

https://www.phoronix.com/review/amd-radeon-rx9070-linux indicates 6.12 lts kernel is the minimum so 6.13 should work.

Mesa 25.0 or later is needed, 25.0.1 is in extra-testing now and should enter extra within weeks .

If you need the support sooner, look into building latest mesa development versions using mesa-minimal-git or mesa-git from aur .

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
