I recently installed nautilus and when i did it added Desktop to my list of places in the gnome file dialogue boxes.
As I use fluxbox I don't use the desktop and want to remove the link but the remove option is not enabled. How can I remove it?

you can use alacarte to edit the gnome menus,
pacman -S alacarte
The.Revolution.Is.Coming - - To fight, To hunger, To Resist!

Unfortunately tis broken!

import gtk, gtk.glade, gmenu, gobject, gnomevfs, gnome.ui
ImportError: No module named gnomevfsBefore I go to the trouble of finding the missing dependency, is the gnome file dialogue included in what this can edit? I'm asking as one of the dependencies it did install was gnome-menus which hints that it can modify those menus but possibly not the one I want.

I fixed the dependency problem (installing gnome-python-desktop I think it was) and alacarte seems to only allow me to edit what would be the gnome equivalent of the windows start menu. No mention of the dialogue boxes.
Anyone else suggest a way to remove it? It must be in a config file somewhere.

~/.gtk-bookmarks perhaps?

Sorry, should have updated this, it has disappeared! It could have been removing alacarte that did it, I just noticed that it had gone the other day!
